Georgian (1700-1780)

The paneled front door of a Georgian home is usually centered and capped by an elaborate decorative crown, supported by flattened decorative columns. Often the homes feature a cornice emphasized by decorative moldings. Windows with double-hung sashes and many small panes of glass grace the façade and are aligned horizontally and vertically in symmetrical rows, usually in an odd number.
